Located more than 100 km from the capital of Vientiane, Ban Donedou suffers from its geographical isolation. Access to safe drinking water was essential for the simple survival of her community.

Financed by the Delegation Geneva Solidarity City (DGVS), the well was built in November 2016. More than 2,000 people now have access to safe drinking water.
