We are pleased to announce that the construction of the second well financed by the Schmid Family from Cartigny has been completed. Today, more than 2,000 people have access to drinking water!
Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer que la construction du deuxième puits financé par la Famille Schmid est terminée. Aujourd’hui, ce sont plus de 2’000 personnes qui ont accès à une eau potable !
After a particularly strong monsoon, our work was able to resume in early November. A first well was completed on November 11. Two additional wells will be completed by the end of December.
We would like to thank again Marlène and Peter Schmid from the Commune of Cartigny for their financial support financial support. Thanks to their generosity, three wells can be builtin remote villages throughout the country. More than 4,000 people will have access to safe drinking water.
Après une mousson particulièrement forte, notre travail a pu reprendre début novembre. Un premier puits a été complété le 11 novembre. Deux autres puits seront complétés d’ici la fin de décembre.
Nous tenons à remercier à nouveau Marlène et Peter Schmid de la Commune de Cartigny pour leur soutien financier. Grâce à leur générosité, trois puits peuvent être construits dans des villages reculés du Pays. Plus de 4’000 personnes auront accès à une eau potable.
Voici les premières photos du puits de Ban Nalong. La qualité de ce dernier n’est pas très bonne, mais nous recevrons bientôt des photos de notre équipe laotienne.

We would like to express our deepest thanks to the Charity Pictet Foundation for its financial support and loyalty over the years. Their support has enabled us to build a well in the village of Ban Man in Khammouane Province. Today, it provides drinking water to more than 1,000 people.
